LIVING IN AN AGE OF TERRORIST THREATS, WE
HELP STUDENTS BELIEVE IN THE FUTURE
One
part of our new educational video
and Patrick Reynolds' live assembly program for grades 6 - 12
was created to help counteract a 1990's increase of worry and
anxiety among youth – particularly at-risk students, whose smoking
rates are substantially higher.
An
important factor in high youth smoking rates has been that too
many feel inwardly, I have no future, so why not smoke or try
drugs? I just want to have some fun while I can.
Sadly,
in this age of terrorist threats, student worry and anxiety have
become more widespread.
A
five minute section in our video helps empower students to deal
with their doubts and worries, and aims to help rebuild their
faith in the future.
In
turn gives them a new motivation to "take care of your health,
for the incredible years ahead, and stay tobacco and drug free."
